What are the top paying jobs for new graduates?

    According to the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey carried out on the 2007 first degree cohort six months after graduation, for all types of work, Protective service officers commanded the highest average salary, at 25,053. This is less compared to last year where health professionals commanded the highest average salary, at £25,365 which is now at 24,968. This was followed by health and social services managers (£24,155).

    Table 1 shows salaries by some of the types of work reported in the DLHE survey.
