Pendle Lancashire Enterprise Trust Ltd	Shell Step	Placements of 8 - 13 weeks where students undertake a specific project for a host organisation.
Pendle Lancashire Enterprise Trust Ltd	Step Enterprise	Manages and delivers the Social Science Work Placement Programme (SSWEP) supported by the Economic and Social Research Council to provide placement opportunities to students with a social/humanities degree background, aims to break down the barriers to employers considering employing such graduates. Covers the whole of the North West area.

Step Enterprise	SSWEP	8 week summer placements for social science students in social enterprises, SMEs, third sector and public sector organisations.
UCLAN University of Central Lancashire	Unite	A North West based initiative, supports SMEs by providing free short term, 4 week, student and graduate placements to fulfil a short-term business requirement on a full-time basis during summer, Easter and Christmas holidays or part-time during term-time. The students wage is paid for by the project.
