I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to submit an article for the Spring 2008 edition of the Australian Career Practitioner (ACP). The ACP is distributed nationally to members of the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA) four times a year. CDAA is the largest professional network of career practitioners in Australia with members who work with clients in a range of settings such as organisational development, outplacement, private counselling practice, educational institutions, rehabilitation and government.
Articles can be focused on contemporary issues, research, theoretical frameworks and practical applications, client management as well as items that focus on resources, industry trends, case studies and managing a small careers business. Copy word count can vary between 300-4000 words and is dependent on the nature of the article submitted. For example, papers similar to those presented at conferences are usually at the high end; general articles approximately 900-1000; tips are usually in the range of 300-600; news items and member profiles around 300 words.
