The Mace Group wanted to gain recognition of its high standard of work experience opportunities that it provides. The scheme was graded using eight different criteria: commitment; recruitment; induction; learning and development; assessment; resources and support; programme evaluation and monitoring; and partnerships. We believe we provide students with a quality experience through their internship/work placements with an opportunity to develop their skills and take on real responsibilities in preparation for their future careers.

This evaluation process meant an external review in all these areas enabling us to benchmark our programme against best practice thus helping to improve our work placement experience.

We also want to ensure we attract the best graduates and undergraduates to our scheme. Gaining the Quality Mark will help us to do so by promoting Mace Limited as a quality provider of work experience.
