Case Study

“The last year has fired me to “kick start” my career and I cannot wait to finish Uni and start in the real world!” Jessica Church – Placement Student, Johnson and Johnson Wound Management.

Johnson and Johnson Wound Management produce a wide range of products to healthcare professionals to aid the healing of their patient’s wounds. The winning nomination was made by Jessica Church who completed a twelve month placement with the organisation.

Within her placement Jessica had the opportunity to see how all divisions of the company worked together, spending time with the finance department, marketing, HR, sales and operations and even had a days experience with the companies PR agency.

During the year Jessica completed a number of projects including completely re-building and re-launching an intranet site, organising the companies presence at a leading industry conference and launching a new product to market.

A lot of time and effort was invested in to Jessica’s personal development. Training opportunities and relevant business books were made available to further the student’s development.Students are encouraged to gain a wide range of experience within different divisions of the company.
