Accenture offers a variety of internships which range form a quick one-day taster through to a summer vacation scheme and a year’s industrial placement.

Taking on the same responsibilities as a management trainee, interns will get hands-on experience from the very first day. That doesn’t mean becoming an expert on coffee making, instead you’ll be learning about sales, marketing, customer service, business management and operations. You will have the chance to showcase your talents and really come alive. If you impress us, then there’s a good chance you could become a permanent fixture with us once you graduate.

We look for students from any degree discipline and from any year. We are much more focused on competencies and we are looking for students who are interested in learning about business and people.

We have a range of internship opportunities available. So whether you want to join us for a placement year, during your summer break or even part-time whilst you continue studies, we have an option to suit you.

Healthcare Careers and Skills Academy

The Healthcare Careers & Skills Academy at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire provide placements in almost all areas of the hospital. We aim to provide placements to anyone from 14 upwards, giving them a valuable insight into the roles and responsibilities within the NHS. As we are a hospital we do need to ensure that individuals are placed in appropriate areas in relation to their age and for health and safety reasons. Placements can be from one day up to one month in length in any one area. Individuals are more than welcome to apply again for the same or different area.

There is an application process to ensure that we can identify the most appropriate placement for individual needs. These can be obtained via the University Hospital of North Staffordshire website.
